Frequently Asked Questions about Chardham Yatra Package from Nepal
- Registration charges are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- A 40% advance payment is required to confirm the booking. The remaining 60% balance must be paid at the time of trip departure.
- 75% of the paid amount will be refunded if the booking is cancelled more than 45 days before the tour departure date.
- 50% of the paid amount will be refunded if the booking is cancelled more than 30 days before the tour departure date.
- 25% of the paid amount will be refunded if the booking is cancelled more than 15 days before the tour departure date.
- No refund will be provided for cancellations made within the last 15 days before the tour departure date.
- If any activity is cancelled due to severe weather, government restrictions, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will try to arrange a suitable alternative. No refund will be provided for such cancelled activities.
- Any applicable airline, railway, hotel, permit, or other cancellation charges will be deducted from the refundable amount.
- In case of a lockdown at the destination, a credit shell may be issued after deducting applicable IRCTC, airline, or other cancellation charges.
- The credit shell can be used for a future trip within 365 days from the date of issue and must be used for the same number of travellers.
- Please read the emails/WhatsApp threads carefully and understand the contents and prices. All email/WhatsApp conversations will also form part of your contract with us once you make the booking.
- If your trip has been canceled due to any pandemic, your payable balance will be treated toward your next trip on the same basis.
- Please take care of your belongings before leaving the car or hotels. The company is not responsible for any loss.
- 100% payment should be completed before the trip starts. Otherwise, your trip will not commence.
- Hotels, camps, or any kind of accommodation may deny stay if valid ID proof is not provided. The company is not responsible for any ID proof-related issues.
- For an extra adult, many hotels provide an extra mattress instead of an extra bed. Kindly inform us in advance if you prefer only an extra bed instead of an extra mattress.
- It is presumed that the tourist is medically fit to undertake the tour. If you have any allergies (especially food allergies) or serious health issues, kindly inform us in advance.
- Generally, hotel check-in time is 14:00 hrs and check-out time is 11:00 hrs across India. Confirmed early check-in or late check-out will be chargeable if not included in the package cost. Kindly contact the hotel directly if you want complimentary early check-in or late check-out.
- Many hotels charge extra for room heaters or Wi-Fi. These services are not included in the normal package, and such charges must be paid directly at the hotels.
- If the vehicle breaks down due to technical reasons, we will try our best to arrange another vehicle as soon as possible in case of major problems. For minor problems that can be resolved quickly, the vehicle will be repaired. Kindly cooperate.
- We shall not be responsible for any delays, alterations to the program, or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, transport breakdowns, weather conditions, sickness, landslides, closures/blockades due to political unrest, or any such incidents.
- AC will not work in all hill areas or when the vehicle is stopped or parked.
- The driver will not drive in no-entry zones and should not be forced to drive on narrow streets or roads that may create traffic jams. The normal working hours of the driver are 12 hours per day. If you require services for more than 12 hours in a day, kindly inform us in advance.
- In some hill areas, driving after sunset and playing music is not allowed due to safety risks. Kindly cooperate with the same.
- Pick-up and drop-off points will be limited to one location each. If multiple pick-ups or drop-offs are required, please mention them in the email/WhatsApp conversation before booking.
- The tour destination/route cannot be changed without prior notice. Rates may change for any amended route or tour destination.
- The rates are subject to change depending on fluctuations in diesel/petrol prices in India.
- TRIP TO CHARDHAM reserves the right to provide a similar car if the car booked is unavailable.
- Sometimes, vehicle parking areas may be located a little far from sightseeing spots. Guests need to reach the parking area at their own cost.
- No refund will be provided for short stays or unused facilities.
- No cancellation or refund will be made if the situation is beyond our control, such as bad weather, landslides, climatic conditions, natural disasters, fire, embargoes, acts or decisions of government, political or national crises, roadblocks, heavy snowfall, acts of terrorism, strikes, problems with airlines, railways, buses, hotels or transporters, labor unrest, insolvency, business exigencies, operational or technical issues, route or flight cancellations, or any other circumstances due to which the customer cannot reach the destination and which are beyond our control.
- The company is not responsible for any accident, injury, death, theft of persons, or loss/theft of property during the course of the tour.
- All rights are reserved by the management to cancel any service without any refund until the full advance payment toward the service is received from the customer and accepted by the company. The company may change the features or functionality of its services at any time without prior notice.
